Robert and Marjorie Carter are the founders of Bashan Ministries and ordained ministers. We are now non-denominational and have affiliation with other ministries around the world to provide stability and give biblical evidence of our standing.

Robert has been walking with the Lord since 1968 and has been involved run a wide range of ministry activities in various capacities as a pastor and church planter, an evangelist and convention speaker. The ministry reaches into twenty-eight nations. Many other pastors relate to us in an informal manner.

Much of our ministry now concentrates on teaching and presenting biblical truths in simple, yet profound ways, drawing much from original language of scripture. We aim in presenting truth in such a way as to draw people close to God and develop deep, personal intimacy of relationship with Him.

We encourage all believers everywhere to find their role and function in the Church and to find their ministry gift and operate in it.

Our ministry motto is preparing the way and this is based on Isaiah’s prophecy:

Comfort, O comfort My people,” says your God.
 “Speak kindly to Jerusalem;
And call out to her, that her warfare has ended,
That her iniquity has been removed,
That she has received of the Lord’s  hand Double for all her sins.”
A voice is calling, “Clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness;
Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God.
“Let every valley be lifted up,
And every mountain and hill be made low;
And let the rough ground become a plain,
And the rugged terrain a broad valley;
Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed, And all flesh will see it together;
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” Isaiah 40:1-5

John the baptist came to God’s people with a similar message that was in simple terms to prepare themselves for the coming of Messiah.

We believe that Jesus will return, possibly in our lifetime and for that reason, we also have a similar message that is in simple terms, “Get ready for Jesus’ return”.
